1.      DEVELOPMENTAL MONITORING PROGRAM

CDC has launched Developmental Monitoring Program to maintain the developmental record of your child.

According to the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) Statement 2006, Screening procedures should be incorporated into the ongoing health care of the child. All infants and young children from birth to 3 years should be screened for developmental delays..

Under this Program, All infants and toddlers are screened to identify any delays or deviation in the normal development. Developmental screening provides a quick and simple way to monitor a child’s healthy development. It helps in identifying proper physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of a child and helps in early identification of any delays or deviations in the normal development.

2.      TABULARASA PROGRAM

Enhancement Program known as “TABULARASA PROGRAM” to enhance the overall development of children.

The program is based on the concept of “Tabularasa” which means “Blank slate”, we believe that we can emboss desired impression on a child’ brain in the early years of life as researches say that Brain plasticity is higher in the early years of childhood, i.e. the initial five years of a child’s life.

Based on the fact “The more stimulating the early environment, the more a child develops and learns”, The program aims at providing the stimulating environment to children in early years of life to enhance the child’s development in all domains.

The purpose of Tabularasa Program is to enhance the overall abilities of each child and thereby help child perform well all throughout the life. It will help every child develop coping skills and accept a greater degree of personal responsibility.

5.      CAREER COUNSELING

“The best career advice to give to the young is ‘Find out what you like doing best and get someone to pay you for doing it’ ”

In this world of cut throat competition our aim is to find out the best in you and help you excel in that area through career counseling. Career counseling is the process of helping the child to select a course of study that may help him/ her to get into job or make them employable. The career counselor will help child to get into a career that is suited to his/ her aptitude, personality, interest and skills. Thus an effective correlation would be made between the internal psychology of a child with the external factors of employability and courses.

The counselors will do an extensive assessment of each student through scholastic analysis which will include aptitude, interest and personality testing and make a portfolio of a suitable career

6.      Health Wellness Program

“Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit”

In Health Wellness Program, The health care professionals aim to address adolescent issues and age group related issues like nature of changes during adolescence developmental characteristics, vulnerability of Adolescents, Adolescent Sexual Behavior and its health implications like H.I.V/ Aids, Drug Abuse, Substance Abuse.

Life is full of twists and turns, Thus, Health Wellness Program helps the students to identify various hazards, accidents, exposure to harmful situation or a substance using various procedures. It trains a child in accident prevention, accident response, emergency preparedness, disaster management, use of protective clothing and equipment. Thus, the trainers help a child in understanding the severity of a disaster and how to respond swiftly to it.

Thus, Always remember in the words of William W. Purkey:

“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, Love like you’ll never be hurt,

Sing like there’s nobody listening, And live like it’s heaven on earth.”
